Delete your mySipStories account
You can delete your account and its associated data from the app or website.
- Sign in with the email address used for your account.
- Open Settings and scroll to the account deletion option.
- Select “Want to delete your account?”, then choose to leave.
- Review the confirmation and confirm deletion. Feedback and permission to keep your email for follow-up are optional.
What happens to your data
Deletion removes your account, profile, posts, comments, votes, reviews, connections, parties, notifications and push subscriptions. You are signed out. This action cannot be undone.
Optional exit feedback is retained separately without your email unless you explicitly allow us to keep it for follow-up. Records required for legal or security purposes may be retained as described in our privacy policy. Our policy provides for erasure of personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
Unable to sign in?
Request account and data deletion by emailing grievance@sipstories.in from your registered email address. Include your username if you know it. We may need to verify account ownership before processing the request. Do not send your OTP or password.
Delete data while keeping your account
You can delete your own posts and comments in the app, and remove optional profile information in Settings. For another data-erasure request, email the grievance address above from your registered email, specify which data you want removed, and state that you want to keep your account. Other account data remains unless you request account deletion. The same privacy-policy retention exceptions apply.
