Event Terms

Last updated: October 25, 2026 · Version 2026-10-25.2

1. Scope and organizer

These terms apply to event registration and attendance through SipStories. The event listing and any additional conditions shown before registration form part of these terms. The organizer for Diwali Party is Piyush Kumar Sahoo, contact +91 79827 64251. Diwali Party is on 31 October 2026, 7 PM onwards, at a private farmhouse in Gurgaon. Contact the organizer for the exact address. Contact the organizer for event arrangements and entry requirements. Community use is separately governed by the App Terms. The Privacy Policy covers event data.

2. Eligibility and alcohol

Event attendance and the app's community age requirement are separate. Follow the entry requirements stated for the event. Registration does not establish eligibility to purchase, possess, or consume alcohol. Alcohol rules and minimum ages vary by Indian state or union territory and may depend on the type of alcohol. There is no nationwide average drinking age. Local laws, prohibition, permit requirements, and venue rules apply. Valid age identification may be checked at entry or before alcohol service.

The registration flow is intended for adults and does not support child registrations or parental consent.

3. Registration and payment

Provide accurate details and obtain permission before submitting a attendee's information, including gender. Email verification is required to save a registration and may create an account for event access. Existing users register through their account; event edits do not update their community profile.

Review the ticket category, number of attendees, and displayed total before submitting. Bookings can include mixed ticket categories for up to 10 people in total. A couple ticket counts as two people. a Lone Wolves ticket admits one man; a Divas ticket admits one woman; each Couple ticket requires one man and one woman. Each ticket records its own named attendee or pair, contact details, and self-declared gender. Do not list the same person more than once or reuse attendee phone numbers or email addresses within a booking. The booking contact can register multiple eligible pairs without attending. The organizer reviews eligibility; names, identity and the selected category must also be checked at entry. The server quotes the complete amount for your booking. UPI payments use sahoopks74@okicici with the amount prefilled. Prefilling does not prevent you changing the amount in a payment app. A screenshot or submitted transaction reference is subject to manual review. The organizer must verify the full amount received in the receiving bank statement before confirming entries. Underpayment does not confirm the group. A pending registration is not a confirmed ticket or confirmed payment. Entry passes appear in “Check my booking” once your booking is confirmed. Early-bird rates for Diwali Party end on 26 October 2026 at 00:01 IST. Regular rates apply from that instant. Payment must reach the receiving bank before the early-bird cutoff to qualify; a screenshot uploaded later does not extend that window. The saved booking quote records the applicable prices and cutoff.

While the QR is marked temporary, do not pay using it. Sample screenshot submissions collect no payment and do not create a paid booking.

4. BYOB and conduct

Where an event is marked BYOB, bring your own bottle only as permitted by local law and venue rules. Non-alcoholic drinks are welcome. BYOB does not waive alcohol age, possession, permit, or service restrictions.

No hazardous materials, drugs, or narcotics are allowed. Do not bring weapons or engage in violence, harassment, unsafe behavior, or drink-driving. Follow reasonable safety instructions. Organizers may refuse entry or remove attendees who breach these rules or applicable law.

5. Changes, cancellations and refunds

Tickets are non-refundable, subject to applicable law. Check the organizer, ticket quantities, date and venue status before paying. Contact the organizer about cancellations, transfers, postponements, or an incorrect or duplicate payment. This non-refundable policy does not exclude rights or remedies required by law, including where an event is cancelled or the promised service is not provided. If a booking cannot be confirmed and an amount was deducted, it will be transferred back within 3–5 days. Temporary QR submissions involve no payment to refund.

6. Privacy and contact

Registration details, optional drink notes, consent records, and screenshots are used to manage your booking, review payment evidence, and provide event communications and support. Authorized organizers may access these details only for those purposes. See the event privacy notice for data handling, retention and your choices. Registration is not marketing consent.
